Free and Low Cost Spay and Neuter in LA and Surrounding Areas

Free spay/neuter for feral/community cats, and low-cost spay/neuter for your cats. 
Current Fees: Female/Spay: $65 (Effective 6/1/21) Male/Neuter: $50 (Effective 6/1/21). Residents of the City of Los Angeles are eligible for discount vouchers through the LA Animal Services, which must be presented at check in on the same day your pet is in for surgery.

Pasadena Humane (Pasadena)
Low-cost and fee-waived spay and neuter & vaccines for cats and dogs.
Current Fees: Cat spay/neuter: Male and female cats (2lbs and over): $165 Dog spay/neuter: Small dog (2-30lbs): $305, Medium dog (31-50lbs): $365, Large dog (51-75lbs): $425, Extra large dog (76lbs and over): $485 *By law, all dogs over four months require a current rabies vaccine and pet license. If your dog is not licensed, please be prepared to pay for a license the day of your dog’s spay/neuter surgery at pickup. Licensing fees vary by city.
Financial Assistance: If you need help covering the cost of your pet’s spay/neuter: programs available to help cover part or all of the cost of the surgery. Apply for financial assistance through our Helping Paws program by submitting an online application.

Includes: any medications to go home, if necessary, and an e-collar, if necessary. Clinic usually provides a time-released pain-relief injection, so no pain-medications are required to take home. But, if they are required, they will be included.
